HOW IS COACHING DIFFERENT FROM COUNSELING?
Coaching and counseling both utilize a trusting, collaborative relationship to facilitate change. Coaches and therapists are trained in understanding human behavior and motivation. Both help clients set and achieve their goals.

Counseling typically helps individuals get from a non-functional state to place of improved functioning. Counseling involves the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions. If you've been diagnosed with a mental health problem such as depression or anxiety, counseling is probably the better choice, at least initially.
Coaching focuses on helping individuals move from a place of functioning to a state of THRIVING. It does not involve a mental health diagnosis or treatment of pre-existing mental health conditions. Coaching services are not covered by insurance or health savings accounts. Coaching is the perfect fit for mentally well people who are ready to become the healthiest, happiest version of themselves!

HOW MUCH DOES A COACHING SESSION COST?
Finding an experienced, doctoral-level coach with individual, couples, family counseling and coaching experience is rare. With over a decade of clinical mental health experience, a master's degree, and over 60 hours completed in a PhD program, I have a vast skill set. At Namasday Wellness, I want my strength-based coaching services to be accessible to anyone striving to create meaningful change in their lives. My rates are some of the lowest in the industry, at only $150 per 45-minute session.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING A COACHING SESSION?
At the time of your scheduled appointment, you will receive a link (via text or email) from Doxy.Me (a Hippa compliant Telehealth portal). During our first session, we will review your intake questionnaire and begin the process of setting goals. Every coaching call is tailored to meet your individual needs and goals. Together we will build a relationship and work together to help you become the healthiest, happiest version of yourself.
